Ridley 1st Swim Team Makes a Huge Splash at CISAA Championship

Wednesday was another exciting day at the races for the Ridley Swimmers as they headed to the Markham Pan Am Pool for the CISAA Championship. The swimmers produced some exciting swims and personal bests to cap off another great season. The Tigers came home with 12 medals and many more top 10 finishes. A few highlights include...
  • Our Jr Boys relay surprising us all by shaving 7 seconds off their team time and finishing third. Way to go boys!
  • Alex Bento giving the crowd a great show in his 100 freestyle, battling to the finish and grabbing a silver, missing gold by a mere 0.06 seconds
  • Our Sr Boys Freestyle Relay grabbing gold and dominating the field by 3 seconds, making a personal best time as a team.
  • Having a Sr. Girls relay to compete and finishing 8th!
  • All of our OFSAA Qualifiers: Joshua Maloney, Horace Wong, Alex Bento, Luke Kelshall, and Natalya Guillaume.
These are just a few of the many highlights of the day and the coaches are extremely proud of every swimmer. The improvements we have seen over the season are incredible, and we are very excited to watch all of those who return next year continue to grow. We look forward to OFSAA in two weeks and hope to see some more personal bests and top finishes, so stay tuned!
