Tigers Earn Five of Six in MPHL Action

Prep Boys Hockey won two games and dropped another in a shootout in Midwest Prep Hockey League action over the weekend.

The Tigers topped Bishops College School 4-0, Rothesay Netherwood School 5-0 and dropped a 4-3 shootout decision to Rice Memorial.
The Tigers are now 25-9-2-1 overall.
Rylee Hlusiak led the way with four goals while Coleman Bennett and Brady Hildreth each had two.
Carlo Muraro and Tony Theodoropoulos each earned shutout wins.
"This was another solid weekend for us, earning five of a possible six league points,” coach Mike McCourt said. “The boys showed some resiliency in the third game, tying the game late by scoring two goals with the extra attacker.
"We've only got four games until the Christmas Break, including a big one at home on Wednesday against St. Andrews. Hopefully we can build off the momentum from this past weekend, and head into the break on a high note."
