Soccer

With one of Canada’s premier independent school soccer programmes, Ridley soccer has earned recognition at the regional, provincial, and national levels for seven decades.

Our soccer programme is built on the key elements of the Soccer Canada Long Term Athlete Development, which provides a systematic and consistent approach to the development of athletes. With this model, Ridley Soccer enables age and stage appropriate skills development and meaningful competition from the “FUNdamental” foundation to the “Train to Compete” and “Learn to Win” stages of the development process.

First Boys Soccer

The Ridley First Boys soccer team is our premier boys soccer team. It plays a split season with competition in the Fall and Spring.

In the Fall, the team plays in the Conference of Independent Schools Athletic Association (CISAA) league and attends the Canadian Accredited Independent School (CAIS) National Championship Tournament.

In the Spring, the team plays a tournament schedule that leads to a major showcase event at the end of May.

Preparation for this level of play includes four practices per week, as well as strength training and active recovery sessions. Training and competition are supported by a dedicated coaching staff, Ridley’s athletic therapy and school medical team, a strength and conditioning coach, and other professional instructors.

First Girls Soccer
